Not all Black & White

Nothing is black-and-white concerning tegu care, unless you count their color.

I'm honestly not too fond of care sheets, but I do believe there are some general guidelines that can be followed, as well as information based off of experience that should be shared. I am not claiming anything posted as fact or absolute. I have merely compiled a list of generally accepted information regarding tegu care and hope this will clarify questions prospective tegu owners may have. There are many people out there more educated than I am with tegu care (I am, by no means, an expert), but hopefully my posts will serve as a good introduction into life with a tegu.

Within these post, my hope is not to contradict others or to merely regurgitate information provided from other websites, but to corroborate with others regarding tegu care and annotate my personal experiences regarding certain questions and topics. My goal is to share any research I have collected in hopes of helping others, as well as discuss different husbandry techniques with tegu owners who have a vast amount of knowledge that goes beyond my own. I hope to not only share this information, but to also provide support for particular arguments and demonstrate why many care sheets state certain care requirements. If there is any inaccurate information, or something debatable that people would like to respectfully discuss, I'd love to hear you input in the comments section. I am in no way stating everything to be fact, and, as previously stated, am using this more so to annotate personal experiences and knowledge provided from other tegu owners.
